WHERE TO START
When I was living with three other roommates in the middle of Amsterdam, every end of the month we needed to sit together and split all the amenities. We would always figure it out, but unfortunately, you had roommates who arent that punctual, and you had to chase them down to pay the bill. I thought there has to be a better, more insightful way to keep track of this, right?
This is where OKIOWN was born an idea where roommates can split living costs every month with each other, without the hassle of sending each other constant reminders.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Every end of the month, users or households get a notification that the rent, internet, and or extras need to be paid. When paid it will transfer the money directly to either the landlord or company in charge of the accounts. This hassle-free approach is transparent and will benefit both parties involved, the landlord, and rentees.
